The SHE’S have covered more musical ground than most. This all-girl surf rock quartet has shared the stage with The Soft Pack, Thao with the Get Down Stay Down and Girls, and regularly play throughout San Francisco, with Bay Bridged calling them “one of the best bands in town, period.” The SHE’S debut album, Then It Starts To Feel Like Summer, is set for release on November 29, 2011 and the girls will take the stage at the Bottom of the Hill on December 3rd for a record release show with Tijuana Panthers and The Melted Toys.

On Then It Starts To Feel Like Summer, the SHE’S three-part harmonies, infectious guitar riffs and doo-wop drums recall The Ronettes and early Beach Boys alongside contemporary artists like The Morning Benders and Best Coast. Recorded at Women’s Audio Mission in San Francisco and mastered at The Lodge in New York, Then It Starts To Feel Like Summer is unique: it is the first record to be written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely by women. This project was made possible by support from the California Arts Council.
